CAN YOU FEEL YOUR HAIR GROW ??

I SWEAR,I'M CONVINCED I CAN FEEL IT WHEN MY HAIR IS GROWING.IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE ??? LOL !!! ITS ONLY IN CERTAIN AREAS OF MY HEAD AT A TIME AND ITS A TINGLING FEELING .IT COMES AND GOES BUT RETURNS IN THE SAME AREA IT STARTED IN THE FIRST PLACE.ON SUNDAY NIGHT I DEEP TREATED,CO-WASHED THEN BLEW OUT MY HAIR,AS YOU CAN SEE IN MY PREVIOUS BLOG POST TITLED MY FIRST BLOW OUT.MY HAIR TURNED OUT VERY STRAIGHT ,AS A MATTER OF FACT IT EVEN HAD SOME SWAY WHENEVER I SHOOK MY HEAD FROM SIDE TO SIDE. THIS MORNING I BRAIDED MY HAIR INTO 6 BIG FRENCH BRAIDS. THE BRAIDS WERE NOT INTENDED TO BE SHOWN TO ANYONE CAUSE I WAS GONNA WEAR A BEANIE TO COVER IT UP,ITS FREEZING WHERE I LIVE RIGHT NOW AND I NEED AS MUCH PROTECTION FOR MY HAIR AS I CAN GET.IN THE EVENING AFTER WORK AND AFTER MY WORK OUT I FELT THE TINGLING AGAIN ,I DECIDED TO TAKE A LOOK AT THE AREA IN THE MIRROR AND I SAW LITTLE WAVES OF ABOUT A HALF AN INCH IN THAT AREA ONLY,IT WAS EXACTLY LIKE GETTING NEW GROWTH WHEN I WAS RELAXED.YOU PROBABLY WON'T BE ABLE TO SEE IT AS GOOD BUT HERE ARE SOME PICS.
LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK,CAN YOU ACTUALLY FEEL YOUR HAIR GROWING?

  2. If you noticed this after a blow out it was probably just your hair kinking back up as well as...after your workout: sweat. But I know of the tingle you speak of also.

  6. I also have that tingling sensation on my scalp. It started about 3 months after I started taking hair supplements. I think it may be hair growth.

    1. My hair will feel like someone is very gently tugging on it for days when it's growing and sometimes feels like something might be crawling in my scalp but nothing is there . So yes I'm convinced I can feel it growing at times .Maybe this happens only to people with very sensitive skin .

  8. I do feel my hair growing about the same time every month, its a tingling but it kind of hurts. I always point out to whomever is around "I feel my hair growing right now", and I have to massage my scalp and play with that area of tightness, tingling and a bit of pain. The next day I will have about 1/8 the of a inch if new roots. Weird but true.

  22. I noticed last night around 3 a.m. when I was very lightly sleeping, I started feeling itchy, I scratched for a bit because it was in like 7 spots at once. I gave up scratching and that's when I felt several streaks, each in a thin line, almost trickling in all random spots on my body, It would from my temple down to bottom of my jaw, then crease of forearm down to my palm, then the chest. I started noticing it on the top of my ear. Even on the eyelashes. Try it one night just relax and pay attention, its almost a massaging tickle.
